3 Caught for Car Snatching In Lagos


Three members of a notorious gang group majored in snatching cars from residents of  Victoria Island, Lekki and Ajah of Lagos state have been arrested by anti-robbery policemen attached to Bar Beach Police Station.

The Nigerian defence hd-quarters released a statement this evening indicating that another crew member of Mi-35 arcraft that crashed in Bama, Borno state survived after being declared misssing The Engineer crew member of the crashed Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter earlier declared missing has been found alive.  The crew member who was declared missing when his body could not be located in the vicinity of the crash resurfaced at the military Headquarters in Maiduguri today, having trekked through the bushes after the crash. It is thus confirmed that Flight Lieutenant NM Halilu, Co-Pilot and Warrant Officer Augustine Nwanonenyi, the aircraft technician survived the crash while Flight Lieutenant Onyeka Nwakile was the only one lost in the crash.  The family of the officer has been duly informed while the two survivors are in stable condition but receiving medical attention. Rilwanu Lukman dies at 75

The former Minister of Petroleum Resources and erstwhile Secretary General of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC,Born on August 26, 1938, died about a month to his 76th birthday. Mr. Lukman was said to have, for a long time, suffered from a yet to be disclosed illness. Details of his burial is yet to be announced. Check out for more details
